CmUser Database Policies

Select User Database Policies on the File menu to display the User Database Policies dialog box and define the CmUser database policies. The dialog box contains the following tab pages:

Password Restrictions

Use this tab page to define the minimum length of the Logon password and the signature Password.

User ID Defaults

Use this tab page to determine the default User IDs for the Logon and for the Signature operations.

Electronic Signature

Use this tab page to select the general settings for electronic signatures.

Signature Programs

Use this tab page to determine the user-defined programs to be executed after the single signature operations.

LDAP Logon

Use this tab page to delegate password authentication to Windows.

Compatibility

Use this tab page to enable or disable compatibility with Chromeleon clients < 6.10.

Client Locking

Use this tab page to lock the client automatically if there has been no user input for a specified time.

Transaction Agent

The Transaction Agent allows you to protect Chromeleon datasources under the Windows operating systems supported by Chromeleon. It is not possible to access the substructure of protected datasources in the Windows Explorer. To protect datasources, select the Use transaction agent to protect datasources check box. Type the domain and the name and password of the (virtual) Target User to be used by the Chromeleon client to access the datasource.
